Convento do Carme
The Convent of O Carme is a neoclassical building, built on top of living rock in the early 18th century. It was first inhabited by monks belonging to the Order of the Discalced Carmelites. After the ecclesiastical confiscations of Mendizábal (1836), it then belonged to the Dominican Fathers, who are still present today.
Due to its privileged location, its atrium, which is open to the public, features a perfect panoramic view of Padrón.
