Padron’s shopping area

​The shopping area encompasses both the pedestrian old town and the new town, with a wide range of establishments.

If we are interested in fashion, in Padrón we can find traditional businesses such as shops selling clothes, shoes, haberdashery, sportswear and accessories. Bazars, shops selling cleaning items and other household goods, shops specialising in toys and pets are other strong points that bring a variety of shoppers to Padrón.

In relation to foodstuffs, Padrón features an important representation of the main national food chains, as well as more specialised gourmet shops. It is also worth mentioning the traditional “praza de abastos” (food market) and the freshness of its local produce, as well as Padrón’s Sunday market, which is famous for being one of the oldest and largest in Galicia.
