Monumento á Sementeira

A bronze sculpture dedicated to the “Sementeira” (Seller of Seeds).

It is located in a square where seeds and cereals used to be sold, such as wheat, oats, rye, etc. It depicts a young lady selling seeds, dressed in the traditional attire of that time, along with her goods and utensils for measuring the product.

The sculptor Camilo Seira was inspired by his sister’s face to create this sculpture.
